Nurse Education Financing
Innovative financing models to support affordable nurse education and equitable distribution

Healthcare education financing, particularly for nurses and nurse faculty, is non-existent or out of reach in low-resource settings where nurses are needed the most. We aim to bring together key nurse training institutions, investors, financial intermediaries, and health NGOs to provide concessionary and forgivable loans, income share agreements, and wraparound support services to nurses and nurse faculty.

The goal is to encourage market-based solutions to improve the affordability of nursing education, build the nursing pipeline, facilitate nurse upskilling, and address nurse distribution challenges in low-resource settings for thousands of nurses. The Center seeks to elevate the issue of nurse education financing and build the case for scale and follow-on investment by a global network of impact investors.
